To respond to the "responses"...black and white thinking will not redeem your life...rather, laying down pride may help open the doors to truth and grace. Some people...actually, aLOT of people need to dig into the history of biblical words and culture to understand Chrisitianity in context. If anything, that's what my degree in Biblical Studies has taught me...along with the shocking lack of research that others put into the Bible's words. Actually...ANY ordinary man/woman who has stepped into the acceptance and knowledge of Christ (i.e. salvation) is considered a 'saint'. Also, we HAVE BEEN made holy; this means the act has already been done. God made ALL holy when they accepted Jesus. Sure, sometimes people slip, but God is VERY aware of human nature. He still calls us holy; the call is to continue living holy. ALL Christians, therefore, are saints. Sorry, if that disturbs you, but God definitely uses broken, imperfect vessels. Furthermore, he has a great disdain towards the Pharisaic thought. Check out his words...maybe read ALL the Gospels again.

The bible teaches the following:

1. Be holy as I am holy- 1 Peter.1:16
2. God's election- John.13:18/15:16,19
3. Many-Not all-Romans.5:19
4. Without holiness- Hebrews.12:14

God will not use the ordinary man, if sin is part of their way of living. This would contradict all he taught. Holiness is what identifies a workman of the Lord's. Jesus taught, "unless your righteousnes exceeds that of the pharisees, you will indeed die in your sins. The truth is, God has called us to something much greater than service to others, he has called us to be holy- this will produce the works he has called us to do.

Do I have to mention that Muslims as "saints" is heretical?

Do I have to mention that open lesbian homosexuality is far from Biblically sponsored choices and is in open rebellion to God's laws for our lives?
